Marilyn Manson Interview on Q101 Radio Chicago
Marilyn Manson made a surprise interview this morning on the Mancow show (Q101, Chicago) from 6 am - 6:30 am. Apparantly, he was there all night and stayed up for the show. Although Sant missed the very beginning, he remembers a few things that was said.
Nothing new or interesting, just a whole lot of funny going on. Mancow and him were discussing their taxidermy collections, and people were calling in asking Brian if he sacrificed cats ("I love cats"). Then Mancow played a soundclip from a Christian radio show... a guy from Canton Ohio called in. Said that "Brian Warner ate over at my house a few times, when he was in writing club with my brother"... said stuff like "yeah, he looked like someone who got picked on all of the time. shy. and his writing was extremely disturbing, he wrote a story about the cheerleading squad with a spiked-football dildo." This caller was talking to the priestly radio guy, who was absolutely abhorred. Then they started "So you never know, this is a sign that we need to get out there and witness now-- because Satan can attack and overcome anyone, anywhere." blah blah blah. Brian was amused. He said he never wrote an article about that, but would like to track it down because "it'd make for a good song." The Mancow and him were discussing Brian's mansion, and Brian said "I do have a secret Scooby-Doo closet in my house somewhere." LOL :) Then someone asked if he was ever in a porno doing an old grandma-type, and he said no... but "i wish" :) Anyways, the whole interview was quite humorous. His show is this Saturday of course, maybe he's in town for the week.
Editor's Notes: Checking out the official Marilyn Manson news site, I see they made a last minute update late last night about the interview... Damn... Sorry about that. I would have mentioned it in advance if I caught it...
