Marilyn Manson Confirms Involvement With "From Hell" Soundtrack
Updated 05.29.2001 2:00 PM EDT

Proving to strike like a snake, Don Murphy, producer of "From Hell," Johnny Depp's new Jack the Ripper-subjected film, falsely informed Comics2Film.com last week that Marilyn Manson did not land the job as composer of the soundtrack nor visited Depp on-set in London during the film's production, when in fact Manson and his counter-parts are currently working on the soundtrack. (Please see, "Comics2Films.com Says Manson Will Not Score 'From Hell' Movie" for more info)

"I contributed about 2 hours worth of material that will be used for various ambiences and sound effects," Manson confirmed to SLS News. "The band and I also composed several pieces of 19th Century funeral marches that may be included in the score."

Confirming the project is near completion, Manson continued, "We are also just putting the finishing touches on the end-credits theme which is being used as the single."

Respectively, the record has been set and Mr. Murphy is now aware of all the details.
