"On the New York Ten
O'Clock News last night," reports Matt, "they had
a story about parental advisories on music albums
and so they had Disposable Teens playing and showed
Manson's Holy Wood cover art several times." The report
went on to show some of the lyrics and had, 'I want
to thank you mom I want to thank you dad for bringing
this fucking world to a better end.'
"They played the music
along with it and had the Holy Wood art in the back
while they showed the lyrics of course censored,"
he said. "Then a kid went into stores trying to buy
different rap artists albums and he got to buy them
but then when they came to buying Marilyn Manson's
Holy Wood they wouldn't let the kid buy it unless
he had a parent with him," he continued. "I thought
that the whole thing was funny and did a great job
promoting Marilyn Manson and Holy Wood. A thumbs up
the the Fox new network team!"
