Marilyn Manson Gives Key Note Address; Photos/Audio Coming Soon
Updated 05.12.2001 3:00 PM EDT

Yesterday Marilyn Manson made his keynote address at Vancouver's New Music West Conference and according to Cam, who pulled some strings and scored a pass, said Manson had a great time! "He came in Thursday and got picked up at VYR by some good friends of mine that work in the Industry; I hooked up with them at The Starfish Room."

"Manson was in great spirits the entire night," continued Cam. "We got him in even better spirits with some help of some stuff. We went to several clubs to check out some of the acts at NMW. Good time."

"He had not wrote the speech as of 3 am Friday," he mentioned. "His topic was on censorship and his speech was very short, but excellent." Cam has a copy of the audio coming to me later today, which he'll also send SLS some photos once they are scanned. In the meantime some digital photos of the speech should arrive either today or tomorrow. "Manson wore his leather pants and the black sweater thing and a Cowboy hat," added Cam. "He talked about Ron Jeremy, Fisting, how now it is only acceptable to insert just the hand, as back in the day it was up to the shoulder that was acceptable....Bwahahahaha. The Dudes a riot."

Cam also confirmed, after talking with Manson, that he will perform at Denver "NO MATTER WHAT." Please see "Manson Responds To Denver Religious Protests" for Manson's Denver protest comments.
