According to the official
Gary
Numan website, that during the "Pure" tour, Numan
met up with former Nine Inch Nails' drummer Chris
Vrenna and he agreed to work with the electro-icon
on a song very shortly.
"I met Raven from Killing
Joke and Chris Vrenna, ex Nine Inch Nails, and will
be working on a song with them in the near future,"
explained Numan. "Very near actually as I need to
write my parts and get it back to them within the
next week or so."
Not only is he working
with two incredible musicians, but he also has plans
to work with Billy Corgan! "I also met up with some
of Billy Corgan's people on the tour and that project
is moving steadily forward which is cool."
Also, while there has
been talk of Numan working with Nine Inch Nails' Trent
Reznor, their collaboration have yet to come to fruition.
And about the Pure tour itself, well, Jeepee
had the chance to meet Gary Numan on April 21st in
Montreal, Canada after the show and mentioned he was
very kind. "He seems to be a great guy, and he certainly
likes his fans," Jeepee mentioned.
Be sure to keep a heads
up at Allstar
News, as I'm pretty sure they will have more information
to add to this story in the near future.
Thanks a lot
