Tuesday,
January 9th, 01 - 7:00 am EST This week's episode of MTV's daredevil program "Senseless Acts of Video," where they reenact many realistic and unrealistic music video stunts, was recently inspired by Nine Inch Nails' latest music video "Starsuckers, Inc." The reenactment was the dunk the Courtney Love look-alike in the barrel of waste scene, but instead to be doused with a bucket filled with 50,000 harmless mealworms on the female co-host. "I guess they didn't want to [dump her into a waste tank], and worms were more disgusting or something," said Ladyeraser who caught the show. "But her co-anchor had to make a basket, which then she'd get worms dumped on her head." The co-anchor made the second shot, "which it was funny watching her freak out," she added. The co-host was like, "here's one in my pants!" Before the stunt took place, the Starsuckers video director talked briefly about the video. "It was a pretty lame stunt," thought Adam, which SLS News had a little part in the research for MTV, "but it was pretty funny because the girl was shaking and about to cry," he continued. Also, during the first stunt they played Marilyn Manson's "Disposable Teens" in the background, and during the second stunt, in the background, "Tourniquet" was played. Fans can catch the program running all week long. Check out MTV's online schedule for local air times at www.mtv.com.
