On Comedy Central, one of their many reruns of Saturday Night Live featured a comment about Marilyn Manson. On the "news update" with norm MacDonald, David Spade in his "Hollywood Minute" mentioned Marilyn Manson. He said, "I have a message to Marilyn Manson. Yeah, Satan called and first said, 'hi' and then your videos are giving him nightmares." the picture was reminiscent of his beautiful people makeup, but was a live performance picture. Neve Campbell hosted the show and David Bowie was the musical guest. It was during his "earthling" phase... so that was around 97 or so. Just to give an idea of where Manson was in his career.
