According to Allstar news, Marilyn Manson is confirmed to perform at the 28th Annual American Music Awards, set for January 8th, 2001.

Among Manson's debut performance for the AMA awards, Kid Rock, Billy Gilman, Outkast, and 3 Doors Down were recently added to the performance lineup. "Those performers join a lineup which already included Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Toni Braxton, Jennifer Lopez, Martina McBride, SheDaisy, and Jessica Simpson," said Allstar. "Spears and rapper LL Cool J will co-host the awards."

On the presenting end, Marc Anthony, Aaron Carter, Destiny¹s Child, Melissa Etheridge, Everlast, Lonestar, Jo Dee Messina, Mya, Nelly, Queen Latifah, LeAnn Rimes, Run DMC, Shaggy, Uncle Kracker, Vertical Horizon, and Vitamin C have all been added to the show, which airs live on ABC.
