December 19, 00 - 5:30 am EST Trezin was able to pick up the DVD platinum release of Se7en a day early yesterday, to discover a very brief NIN reference located in the photographic session of the Sloth case from director David Fincher among other things. "I had only seen one Nine Inch Nails video," said Fincher, "but this guy is fucking genius." Trezin said the director who also lensed a Perfect Circle's "Judith" video, never mentioned who this guy is, "but it must be some guy related to a NIN video," he said. The 'exploration of the opening title sequence' has a tremendous mix of NIN's Closer (Precursor) in its extra audio formats that we've mentioned many times before. "It breathes new life into the song," Trezin added. "It makes me that more excited to hear the new mixes of Nine Inch Nails' music on the [first quarter 2001] Fragility DVD release. It should be great, I'm certain." Trezin will continue is journey into the platinum DVD that was officially released today and let us know if there are anymore related references to Nine Inch Nails or other artists affiliated with Nothing Records. | |||||
