ArtistDIRECT Asks Danny Lohner To Name His Favorite Albums of 2000, New Info On Telefon Tel Aviv!!

Although a photo of Trent Reznor can be seen representing Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails, ArtistDIRECT asked the talented keyboardist/bassist to name his favorite albums of 2000.

Although Danny Lohner lists Telefon Tel Aviv's debut album "Fahrenheit Fair Enough," who is comprised of Joshua Eustis and Charlie Cooper, as a top 10 choice, the album, according to the official site, will debut sometime early 2001.

Below are his top ten choices:

01. A Perfect Circle - "Mer de Noms"
02. Radiohead - "Kid A"
03. DMX - "And Then There Was X"
04. Josh Freese - "Notorious One Man Orgy"
05. Destiny's Child - "Writing's On The Wall"
06. Requiem For A Dream Soundtrack - "Soundtrack"
07. Bjork - "Selma Songs"
08. John Frusciante - "Solo Demos"
09. Telefon Tel Aviv - "Fahrenheit Fair Enough"
10. Common - "Like Water For Chocolate

Please note, fans can listen to an awesome three minute clip of Telefon Tel Aviv's "Scarlet Diva remix Got Me Lost/ Driving in LA" in real audio format from Hefty's Immediate Action 6 release that I can't personally get enough! You can listen to the high quality remix when the musical note is clicked at this address.

In an October 10th news update about the remix, fellow Hefty artists Savath+Savalas and Telefon Tel Aviv rework John Hughes' upcoming "Scarlet Diva" soundtrack. "Scarlet Diva" is an Italian Film (not yet released in the US) by Asia Argento that was scored by John Hughes. "The remixes are a preview of the upcoming release," says the site, "due out early next year on Hefty," which Telefon Tel Aviv makes their debut with their remix on the label. "Although the soundtrack is a more live approach than John has been used to recently, the remixes definitely have an electronic slant," continued the site.

Again to get back on the subject, many other artists under the Nothing records label are also mentioned in the ArtistDIRECT survey. Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory chose #7 Einstnrzende Neubauten's "Silence is Sexy" and most honorably Marc Geiger: ArtistDIRECT CEO & Co-Founder's list #8 Nine Inch Nails' "the Fragile" and #10 The The's "Naked Self". A Perfect Circle's "Mer De Noms" made the majority of every rock artist's list.

Thanks a lot to: Dante.
