December 8, 00 - 1:00 am EST Nine Inch Nails' very own incredible Danny Lohner has returned with the amazing Joshua Eustis of Telefon Tel Avid and remixed A Perfect Circle's latest gorgeous single "3 Libras," which will be released in the UK on January 1st, 2001 and according to our close friends at the NIN Hotline, February, 13th 2001 marks the release of the maxi single(?) in the United States, although sources say its to be a UK import only? It is confirmed the highly anticipated single will break into UK shelves first in a matter of weeks on a 7" vinyl and on 2 separate CDs. The 7" vinyl comes in a gatefold sleeve and a live version of 'Magdalena' will be included on the b-side. CD1 will feature the title track, plus a live version of a Perfect Circle's "Judith", a remix of 3 Libras by 3D from Massive Attack called "All Main Courses mix", and the 3 Libras video directed by Paul Hunter. CD2 will feature a live version and the awesome dual remix by Danny Lohner and Josh Eustis called "Feel My Ice mix" of the title track, a live version of "Sleeping Beauty" plus an interactive photo gallery of 6 photos taken by David Palmer of the quintet. All live tracks were recorded at the America West Arena in Phoenix, AZ on June 4th 2000 while on tour opening for Nine Inch Nails. In related news, a Perfect Circle's "Mer De Noms" was released in China on October 31st, 2000 and is only the 4th Western Rock album to have ever passed the strict sanctions of the Chinese government. The album has already gone platinum in the States selling more than 1 million copies. Interestingly enough, Guns 'n' Roses and Nirvana are other bands that were able to release their albums in China.
