Since I don't have time to deal with the news page problems right now (see below for info on that), I'll put the latest news right here. Fortunately not a whole lot has been going on, but there are a few things worth mentioning. First of all, the latest new album rumor suggests that it will be called "Falling Within" and will contain 13 tracks. Whether this is true or not, I don't know, but it's certainly possible. Also, the Australian Halo 11 import has been released, and is basically identical to the German import (regular remix tracks plus the original TPD). The Canada/UK Halo 11 import is now due out August 11. Still no word on exactly what that will contain.
Trent and Tori won the TV Guide King & Queen of Rock 'N Roll contest, and you can find the results at http://www.tvguide.com/music/features/king/kingres.htm
There's a short NiN article on Guitar World Online located at http://www.guitarworld.com/jul97/musicnews/tuneups/tuneup3/tu.page3.html
There's also been a bit of Ninternet news recently:
The ENTIRE Broken Movie has been digitized and put online at http://chainsawdesign.simplenet.com/broken.html It's about time somebody did that. Also, the MP3 archive at www.nineinchnails.net has been shut down because of their vast copyright violations. This is sad, but it was bound to happen eventually. This will affect a number of the rare songs on the Above The Trees rare songs page, so I'll fix those links when I get back home. Oh yeah, and "The Official Schulte Collaborator's Network," that parody page I reviewed a while back (see the "new nin page reviews" on the "links" page), is being shut down. Apparently Chris Schulte got all pissed off and tried to have the page shut down due to "copyright violations," but Kip Maxey, the creator of TOSCN, decided to shut the page down simply because it had "served its purpose." We'll all be sad to see it go. That's about it for the news today, keep checking here for news updates until I get the page fixed. Thanks again for your support.
