release date: 1994, number of tracks: fourteen. recording at le pig of beverly hills, the record plant, a&m studios. nine inch nails first full-length release in years. tds contains a theme that continues through the entire album that represents a person on the downward spiral of his life that eventually ends with suicide.

release date: 1994 on nothing records, number of tracks: nine. recreated and remixed tracks by trent reznor, sean beavan, brian pollack, coil, danny hyde, and more. memorabilia originally written by david ball and marc almond in 1981. halo nine is composed mostly of closer remixes. there is one remix of heresy, one of march of the pigs, and a cover. note: the us version is currently out of print.
